Ben + Katie | PINEY RIVER RANCH – Vail, CO

When I got the inquiry to shoot Ben and Katie’s wedding in Vail, I nearly lost it. Besides the fact that their wedding was going to be in such an epic location, I could already tell that they were my kind of people, and we were going to hit it off immediately. My suspicions turned to reality and then reconfirmed the night before the wedding as they introduced me and Mike (my second shooter) to every family member there. From that night through the wedding day we literally felt like family. When you are on a first-name basis with every important person at a wedding, you know it’s going to be good. Literally everything about this wedding was spectacular. The weather switched between rain and sun, cold and warm, moody and bright. It was the best of all worlds, and most importantly, it was a real, heartfelt, genuine celebration of these two souls who are madly in love. So excited to share this one with you all. Ben and Katie, love you guys! You are awesome human beings.

I can’t begin to describe how thankful and overjoyed we were to capture Tyler and Elle’s wedding. Elle had stood up in a friend’s wedding that we filmed last year, and through a short conversation that day, I had been hoping and praying that she would reach out to have us shoot her wedding in Yosemite National Park. Thankfully, we connected again, and put it in the books. We spent 3 incredible days with Tyler, Elle, family, and friends, and it was one of the most blissful, adventurous, and stunning trips we’ve ever been on. Yosemite is more than I ever dreamed it would be, and I couldn’t believe the sites that we were able to see and capture. Apart from the unfathomable epic landscape, Tyler, Elle, and their people could not have been more kind to us or trusted our artistic ability any more. We are beyond grateful to have had them as clients and are even more grateful to now have them as friends. I literally spent a whole work week editing this 6 minute film, so please, please enjoy.

When I sat down with Adam & Rebecca for their final meeting before the wedding, it was so awesome to hear and see how excited they were about how special every part of their wedding day was going to be to them. Every detail had meaning and purpose. Their connection with their families was so sweet and the joy that night was tangible. These two were the kind of bride and groom that fully trusted my ability to be an artist and tell the story of their day. It’s the best when my clients let me do that, because rad stuff happens. Kelly + Timmy | BRIQUE Chicago Wedding

I have no words for this wedding, but I’ll try. When I heard that I was the only photographer they even considered, I knew it was destiny. In every way, I connect with Kelly and Timmy. Well, it’s easy when you’re as laid-back, fully trusting, generous, and hilarious as these two. They gave four presents to my family (one four each member) a week after their wedding, they babysat for us so we could go on a date last month, they made us dinner after our newest was born, and even more than ALL of that, they’ve become our dear friends. We are so incredibly thankful for them. It’s not often that you connect with clients this much. I hope the story I was able to tell of their wedding day shows the connection that we have. It’s one of my favorites ever. Enjoy.

Lauren Miller - Hi! These photos are beautiful. I am recently engaged and currently shopping around for ideas on photographer, venue, etc. May I ask where the outdoor fall leaves photos were taken? Can you also send me your wedding and engagement photo info? Thanks!
