Great style. Great people. Great times. Adam and Michelle got married in Lake Forest and had their reception at Independence Grove in Libertyville. After a hoppin’ lunch reception, we did some epic portraits as the sun worked its way towards the horizon. These two moved to California right after their wedding, and I am totally bummed that I can’t hang out with them on the regular. They’re just amazing people.
Chicago’s weather will never be predicted correctly. It will always surprise and at times, disappoint. Ben and Esther’s wedding day happened to fall on one of Chicago’s gloomy, wet, May days. It didn’t matter. We were bound and determined to make the best out of weather that may not have been entirely favorable. With that mentality, we achieved some of the coolest portraits I have ever taken. My favorite part of the day had to be when Ben saw Esther for the first time. It took place in a beautiful little roadside flower shop, and will go down as one of my favorite memories of photographing a wedding. You can tell Ben sincerely adores his bride by his simple glances and caring touch. Such an awesome couple. Enjoy.
This epic Chicago wedding started in Evanston, home to Northwestern University [where both Danny and Kate attended] and concluded with the party of a lifetime at Cafe Brauer in Lincoln Park. This one is for the books. Enjoy!
I’ve had such a good time getting to know Nick and Thea. I was fortunate enough to take their epic engagement photos down in the loop in Chicago..still one of my absolute favorite engagement sessions. These two are so sweet, laid back, and just easy to be around. They’ve both served in the United States Air Force to some capacity. I imagine I can speak on behalf of most in saying we are very proud of your work ethic and service! Love you guys!
